I loved these boots the moment I saw them so I purchased a pair for my daughter who was only 5weeks old. I bought the 6-9 months old size and when they arrived I was surprised at how narrow they are around the ankle, the boots arrived when my baby was two months old and I tried them on and couldn't even do the ankle up ( yes she is a chubby bubba ) and as for the adjusting strap I couldn't find it, the Velcro was not wide enough to make it bigger. Lovely shoe but very disappointed as I now have to sell them to try and get my money back. I found these not true to size and very small around the ankle/calf. Feedback from Erin at Clarks: Thank you for leaving a review. We do try to be as consistent as possible in terms of sizes and width fittings and all our styles are fit tested as part of our product development process. However, we do find that styles will fit differently due to the differences in design and that a customer may need to select a bigger or smaller size in order to find the most suitable fit. We value all customer feedback so thank you for your comments which have been passed back to our team.
