  • 1 stars out of 5Poorly designed shoe

    Graham, halkirk

I can only give a 1 star review for these shoes which is a pity as they are a pretty little girls shoe. The opening of the shoe to put them on is way to tight for the size of the shoe, so much so they won't actually go on our daughters feet. They are the correct size as our twin daughters were sized only a couple of weeks before in a Clarks shop. Put simply the shoe doesn't open wide enough to allow the foot in. We will be returning them.

Bought these for my daughter three weeks ago. They look fabulous and all the other shoes we had from clarks had been great. The shoes were measured in store and we were informed that we should go a width higher than usual as they were tighter fitting. Once we got home and tried putting them on ourselves they were very difficult to get on and off. After three weeks, it has been extremely difficult to get them on as they do not seem deep enough. We have had to force our daughters foot into them as they are tight to get the heel in. Took them back to Clarks who agreed and sorted out our issues. Her new shoes seem much better. Be wary about these shoes as they look fab and fit well once on but getting them on is a struggle.

  • 1 stars out of 5Nightmare to get on... would not recommend!

    Gemma, londonderry

I bought these for my daughter as I prefer a closed in shoe, the assistant went up half a size as they are smaller fitting... it was a few days after when i attempted to put the shoes on that I struggled... but finally got them after a month now they still have not loosened up & there is no hope of getting them on as one foot has grown half a size. I found they were a waste of money and would stay away from this style of shoe!

  • 1 stars out of 5DO NOT PURCHASE

We bought two pairs for our twin granddaughter's, the assistant measured them and tried them on, but would not fit and said that this style need the next size up Gave them to our daughter who said they did not fit properly, we took the twins back to shop with the shoes, the assistant said we had to wiggle them on at the ankle and they would fit. Took her word for it and left the shop. We had difficulty putting them on and the only way is to force the child's foot in wiggling the shoe at the heel. This is not right and have wasted £60 as the shoes are faulty we refuse to put them on, the back is too narrow and we should not be forcing the child's feet into these shoes. Please read the feedback on the same shoes for the older children, they say the same. Feedback from Emma-Lily at Clarks: Thank you for getting in touch. If you're concerned about the fit of your child's shoes in the first six weeks after you've bought them, we'll be glad to check them and replace them if necessary. Please revisit the shop with your child, bringing along the shoes and the receipt if possible.
