  Good quality boot, but unfortunately the zips rubbed my daughter's ankles so they have been returned. That's the risk you take when ordering online, but with free delivery and easy returns it's a risk worth taking!

• Lovely but way too big

  We ordered these online, as another customer stated they were really tight around the calf, my daughter has really stick thin little legs so we thought "bingo". When picking them up, they were like Wellies, and the lacing up the front, are stitched and false. Such a shame!

• Looks Lovely But Tight and Stiff on Calf

  A lovely looking boot and lovely quality, however the ankle area is totally rigid and stiff and doesn't allow any flexibility when my daughter walks. The calf is very narrow fitting and unless your daughter has extremely thin legs, will not be able to tuck even the skinniest of trousers down these. Such a shame.

  I ordered these boots for my daughter using the pick up in store option. This is an excellent service as no payment is taken until the boots have been fitted in store. My daughter wasn't sure about the boots until she put them on. She feels that they are extremely comfortable indeed. They seem to support her feet very well. As far as aesthetics, she isn't too keen on the pink flower design! We bought the boots at the sale price. They are therefor, excellent value. They keep her feet totally dry and warm. A great quality boot and great mail order service.

  I bought these for my 2 daughters, 3 year olds. They instantly loved them. The fit is great, the fabric is very good quality. The calf was a bit tight when putting trouwsers in the boot, but that was solved by a using shoe stretcher for 1 night. Our only problem is that the zipper sometimes unzippes a bit, but that is nothing big. As you check all vieuws of the boot you can imagine that the lace is a fake, otherwise there would not be a zipper. :) We came all the way from the Netherlands to get these boots and they are very worth it. (the service of clarks is also great!!)

• Fab practical winter boots

  I disagree with other reviewers about the calf size, my daughter has normal size calves but always wears tights or leggings so these fit perfectly. The sole has a proper 'grip' so she hasn't slipped on ice and the leather is so soft that her ankles can move properly so avoiding more falls (she's 4). In my opinion these are the BEST and most practical winter boots she's ever had (and I always get her Clarks winter boots). Please, please bring these out again next winter.

  Beautiful and stylish boots, while being warm and comfy (my daughter hasn't complained about being cold or uncomfortable, despite the fierce cold weather at the moment). My 4 year-old can easily put them on her own, as the zip opens the boot very well. It is a good fit for her, and she is average. Some reviews mention that they are too tight, but we haven't tried fitting trousers into them, they are perfect with tights or leggings Goretex is essential for the snowy weather!
