We like to recognise the individual talents that our employees bring to the business, and know that nurturing and stretching our people will help us grow and succeed.

Opportunities to learn and develop are central to the way we work. Our global learning platform 'Le@rn Clarks' gives employees access to the tools they need to continue to develop their skills. By employing a combination of on-the-job learning, self-led development and formal, structured learning, our people are empowered to be the best they can be.

Engaging with our People

We're interested in hearing from every one of the people who work here. To understand what we do well and what we can improve on we conduct regular People Surveys with our employees around the world. In 2012 more than 10,000 employees took up the invitation to tell us what they think about working here, giving us great insight into their working lives.

Reflecting the survey findings, we're focusing on how we communicate within the business, and building internal networks that will enable colleagues to connect and share ideas more easily. We're also working on ensuring that everyone has a voice and is able to share ideas and opinions to positively influence business decisions and that as we evolve we are well placed to manage and implement change.

Living our Values

Our Code of Business Ethics, 'Living our Values', provides guidance on the ethical standards that we expect employees to demonstrate. The Code supports all employees in demonstrating our commitment to integrity and making decisions that are in line with our values and principles.
