Checking out

My basket

At the checkout (which can be accessed by clicking on the 'Checkout' button at the very top right of the page), you will see a summary of the item(s) you have placed in your shopping basket.

Orders from the Clarks site are available for delivery by our Home Delivery (delivery to a UK address of your choice), Collect From Store (delivery to a UK Clarks store of your choice) and Collect+ (delivery to over 5800 Collect+ locations) services. You will be able to select your preferred delivery option for your order.The total amount you have to pay will be displayed to the right of the screen, taking into account the price of your item(s) plus any applicable postage charge; Collect From Store orders are delivered into Clarks stores for free.

To proceed with the order click on one of the green 'Checkout' buttons (in the top right and bottom right of the screen).

To proceed with your purchase you will need to log in to your account (if you have not already done so) by entering your email address and password under the 'Returning customers' heading.

If you have not set up an account you can do so at this point under the 'New customers' heading.

Delivery

Once you have logged in/created an account, you will be asked for further information about how you wish to receive your goods.

i) Collect From Store
If you choose to collect from store, you will be asked to specify the store you wish to collect your order from. Delivery into Clarks stores is free. You can search for your nearest store by typing your location/post code in the box provided. If you are happy with your nearest store, click on 'Collect from this store'. If you would prefer an alternative store, choose another branch from the drop-down list or type in another postcode to search by.

You will then be asked how you would like us to contact you when your order arrives in your chosen store - by SMS message or email. You will need to enter either your mobile phone number or email address (or both) in order for us to do this.

ii) Home Delivery
If you choose the home delivery option, you will be asked for the address you wish your order to be delivered to. It is worth noting that we can only deliver to a valid postcode within the UK.

You can choose for your item(s) to be dispatched to an already-stored address you have entered previously, or enter a new one using the address boxes. To save time, you can enter a postcode and we will search for an address for you.

If delivery address and billing address are the same, please tick 'Use for billing address' box above the address selection.

The Home Delivery options available to your chosen address will then be listed, together with their prices and an estimated delivery date. Standard delivery is free on orders £50 and over.

Review

This part of the checkout gives you a chance to review your order in full before payment details are entered. Your item(s), price-to-pay, personal details, collection/delivery details will be listed for you to see. If you wish to change your method of receiving your item(s) use the tick box in the top section. If you wish to change your collection store or home delivery address use the 'Change' button on the left hand side of the third section.

If you have a Promotional Code you can use it at this point by typing it into 'Enter a Promotional Code'.

If you are happy with your order you can proceed by clicking on the green Proceed to Payment button.

Payment & Place Order

Orders from the Clarks site need to be paid for online (See WorldPay instructions below), taking into account the price of your item(s) plus any applicable postage charge; Collect From Store orders are delivered into Clarks stores for free.

You will be taken to a page headed 'Payments powered by WorldPay'.

You can make a payment with the following credit/debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Electron. Please note: as of 28th Feb 2011, we will no longer accept Solo as a method of payment.

Please select your preferred method of payment from the list in front of you. You will then be taken to a second 'WorldPay' page where you will complete your transaction. Please enter the card details and check the billing address is correct (it can be amended at this stage if required). When you are happy, please press submit to place your order.

Please note: We only accept cards issued from a UK bank/building society and registered to a UK address.

A confirmation of your order will appear on the screen. You will see a reference number (which will also be emailed to you) in order for you to track your order via the 'My account' page. Home Delivery items will be delivered within 3-4 working days of your order (for Standard Delivery).

Collect From Store items will be delivered to your chosen store within 3-4 working days of your order. You will be notified via the choice of SMS message or email when your goods have arrived. Should you NOT collect your purchase within 14 days of the order arriving in store, your account will be refunded within a further 14 days.

Choose the delivery option you would like from the drop-down box and add any special instructions in the box below. Click on 'Continue'.
